Truth: The main reason why I really wanted to throw my own Gender Reveal Party is so I could have an excuse to create a dessert bar. In the end, finding out what our baby is going to be surrounded by family was, well, the icing on a very sweet cake.

The big reveal! |
The party's signature cocktail, a Minty Mango Cooler. I made up a non-alcoholic batch for our beverage station and let guests add their own vodka and mint. Recipe courtesy of Preggatinis: Mixology for the Mom-to-be. |
Guests were encouraged to place their votes on a chalkboard in our kitchen. |
Special thanks to Anna and Blue Paperie who created the dessert cards and water bottle wrappers, and The Sweet Peace bakery who made the cake.
